The SKGABC Level 1 Kayak Guide Course is a powerful introduction to the professional guiding industry and awesome training to support you and your community. If you are looking into Sea Kayak Training for personal trips and experience, you are more than welcome to join this course as well!
Throughout this program you will learn proficient paddling techniques using strokes, rescue systems, group management, risk assessment, leadership & communication. Other skills we will cover are navigation techniques, weather, tides currents and decision making based on observations, information and interpreting the conditions.
Learning can begin once fully paid and registered for our program. You will be given access to our online campus which will ensure that you have the baseline theoretical knowledge prior to the practical part of the course.
Successful candidates become eligible to take the SKGABC AOG Upgrade Course to assist on multi day Kayak adventures in class 1, 2 and 3 waters!
